WORK EXPERIENCE

Entegris  |  New Product Introduction Engineering Intern  |  Billerica, Massachusetts  |  June - August 2024

  • Directed the launch of three new products from development to manufacturing through the stage gate process by creating and refining critical process documents including Solidworks models, bills of materials, standard operating procedures, and process records.

  • Qualified flow rate and pressure verification mechanical system fit for an ISO 9001 production environment, resulting in a 23% decrease in duration of product integrity testing, in turn increasing plant output capacity; conducted FMEAs and root cause failure analysis to address machine failure and safety risk.

  • Designed and conducted full factorial experiment to diagnose conditional source of discoloration in new product line; analyzed data in camLine to identify optimal clean conditions, yielding a 7% reduction in defective parts per million.

Chargermate  |  Business Development and Strategy Intern  |  Chicago, Illinois  |  March 2024 – August 2024

  • Conduct user and market research to identify target clients, manage client engagements, administer client contracts, and oversee the launch of electric vehicle charging station install and upkeep projects.

  • Develop technical tooling and hardware proposals to build out EV charger installation and maintenance infrastructure, supporting day to day operations and scaling of the business.

  • Raised $25k in non-dilutive investments for operational expansion to date.

Tego  |  Product Manager |  Evanston, Illinois  |  February 2022 - Present

  • Lead engineering team in the development of an optimized electrical outlet featuring magnetic break away technology through the design, testing, and safety analysis of 3D printed Solidworks prototypes, resulting in the securing of a large scale manufacturing contract and partnership.

  • Manage product development timeline with manufacturers, overseeing the progression from alpha to beta phase.

  • Present investors with a line of future product adaptations through sketches, Solidworks models, pitch decks, and manufacturing guides, resulting in over $100k in seed funding to date.

Kick Robotics  |  Mechanical & Robotics Engineering Intern  |  College Park, Maryland  |  June - September 2022/2023

  • Updated autonomous environmental quality monitoring systems and vehicles, conducting root cause analysis when presented with performance malfunctions and equipment breakdowns and updating CATIA models accordingly.

  • Maintained robots in test environments, performing on-site inspections and implementing preventative maintenance strategies to reduce frequency of failure by designing and running FEA simulations.

  • Optimized battery management systems to reduce power consumption and increase battery life by 9 hours.

PROJECT AND LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE

McCormick Engineering: Computer Integrated Manufacturing  |  Design Team Member |  Evanston, Illinois  |  January - March 2024

  • Worked with a team of four to carry out the end-to-end process of producing 20 injection molded children’s toys featuring interference fits between connectable parts, then performed metrology and consistency analysis.

  • Created NX part and assembly models, designed injection mold core and cavity, wrote corresponding CAM processes and operations in g-code to CNC machine, and inject two pairs of injection molds.

Mayfest Productions  |  Director of Operations  |  Evanston, Illinois  |  October 2022 - Present

  • Direct security initiatives, ticketing sale and distribution, and festival programming through coordination with Northwestern administration and external contractors for Dillo Day, the country’s largest student-run music festival.

  • Lead composting, waste management and sustainable power sourcing before and during the event, resulting in 250 gallons of composted material collected and a 10% reduction in fossil fuels needed to power stage systems.
